Arc GT4

The Zeus Arc GT4 works with ArcPods: capsules that are filled at home and swapped cleanly on the road. Who is the Arc GT4 for?

For customers who do not want to handle loose material on the move. The ArcPods are filled at home and carried in a case; on the road you only swap. In the trade it is the article for frequent travellers and for everyone who vaporizes in the car or on the train and does not want to spill anything. Anyone who only ever vaporizes at home does not need the system.

The ArcPod system

A pod is a small capsule that is filled with material and then placed in the device. The advantage is the preparation: you fill five pods at home and have five sessions on the road with no grinder, no jar and no crumbs. The drawback is that pods are a consumable — they last several cycles but not forever. Anyone carrying the device must have pods on the shelf.

Nine levels in two ranges

For herbs there are six levels between 195 and 225 degrees, for concentrates three more between 235 and 255 degrees. That separation makes sense, because the two materials work in different ranges and you do not stray into the wrong one by accident. Within a range the levels are fine enough to taste a difference.

GoldSink

Gold-plated parts in the heat sink and on the GT and wax pods spread the heat more evenly. Gold conducts heat very well and gives off no flavour of its own — on a pod system in which the material sits in a capsule rather than directly on the heating surface, even distribution matters especially.

The reworked chamber

The chamber design directs the heat specifically under the pod instead of giving it off all around. That raises the yield per filling and is the difference from older pod devices where the upper part of the capsule stayed cool. In practice it means you no longer have to turn the pod.

The double filter

Two filter layers sit in the pod top and keep particles out of the air path. That makes for a more even draw and makes sure nothing reaches the mouth. On a system used on the move that cannot be cleaned after every session, that is more than a detail.

Also without pods

The chamber can also be filled directly. Anyone who does not need the pods at home uses the device like a normal vaporiser and takes the pods only for the road. That flexibility matters in the sales conversation, because it disarms the most common objection to pod systems.

Battery

3500 milliampere hours are plenty for a portable device and the reason the GT4 survives a travel day. Charging is over USB-C. The battery is built in; anyone out and about a great deal should carry a power bank.

Cooling and water filter

An adapter for cooling or water filter use is included, so the device can be connected to existing glass. Especially in the upper temperature range where concentrates run, the extra cooling stretch pays off. For the trade it is an argument, because it links the device with the rest of the glass range.

For the trade

The GT4 is a system article: device plus pods. The repeat business is reliable, but it depends on the pods being available when the customer needs them. Anyone carrying the device should order GT pods and wax pods along with it — otherwise the customer looks for the reorder elsewhere.

How to use it

1. Fill an ArcPod with herbs or concentrate.
2. Place the pod in the chamber and close the top.
3. Switch the device on and choose one of the nine levels.
4. Let it heat and draw slowly.
5. Take the pod out and insert the next one if wanted.
