Who is the Pax Flow for?

For customers who have owned a Pax before and want to feel the step up, and for everyone entering the brand for the first time who should not end up with an older model. The Flow is the device you hand over when someone says vaporisers draw hard — that is exactly the point solved here. In the trade it goes at the front of the cabinet, because it carries the brand and because its price sits above the entry-level devices. Anyone who has drawn on it rarely compares it with what they had before.

Four times more air — what that changes

The main criticism of older Pax models was always the draw resistance: you had to pull rather than breathe. On the Flow the air path has been recalculated, with up to four times more throughput. In practice that means easier, longer draws and considerably more vapour per draw without having to put your lungs into it. For customers coming from smoke, that is exactly the point at which a vaporiser either feels right or does not. In the shop the difference can be shown in a single draw if an older model is lying next to it.

The hybrid heating system

Conduction heats fast, convection tastes cleaner — the Flow does both at once. The material sits in the oven and is warmed from the outside while hot air is drawn through it at the same time. The result is an even extraction without the burnt patches on the chamber floor that pure conduction devices produce at high temperatures. Cannabinoids, terpenes and aromas are released gently rather than burnt away. For the customer that means full flavour at the start and still a fully used load at the end.

The learning control

The electronics measure in real time how you draw and adjust the heating power. Draw short and hard and power is pushed in; draw slowly and you get a calmer curve. That is the difference between a device that merely holds a set temperature and one that thinks along. The effect does not show on the spec sheet but on the third and fourth draw, when the vapour density does not fall off. That is exactly why the Flow belongs on the counter and not on the back shelf.

Five modes and the bong mode

Five heating modes cover the range from 180 to 215 degrees — from aroma-led to vigorous. Added to that is a dedicated bong mode at 225 degrees, designed for the extra resistance of a water piece. Draw the Flow through water and you get the density that would otherwise be missing. For selling, the bong mode is an argument no other brand puts on the box in this form. Mention it actively, because hardly any customer discovers it on their own.

The removable oven door

The oven door comes off from the side instead of opening from below as it used to. Filling therefore works without turning the device over and without material falling next to it, and the air path is freely accessible for cleaning. Anyone who knows older Pax models knows how much time went precisely here. For the trade this is the point that convinces repeat buyers who had had enough of the predecessor's cleaning effort.

Two mouthpieces

A flat and a raised mouthpiece are included; both are magnetically held and swap in an instant. The flat one is more discreet and disappears into a pocket, the raised one delivers the cooler draw because the vapour travels further. Replacements are available individually and belong on the shelf as wear parts. Anyone using the device in company is better off keeping a second mouthpiece on hand.

Charging and everyday use

Charging happens over USB-C at up to 20 watts, which sets the Flow apart from most portable vaporisers — the device is ready again in a short time instead of hanging on the cable half the night. No mains adapter is included, because 20-watt adapters have long been in every household. For customers using the Flow daily, that means charging in passing rather than by plan.

Cleaning

The open air path and the removable oven door turn cleaning into a matter of minutes. Three oven screens and a cleaning stick are included; everything else is available individually. Clean regularly and you keep the airflow at the level that makes the Flow what it is — a clogged screen undoes the device's greatest advantage. A cleaning kit therefore belongs in every order with a Flow.

Flow, Four or Mini 2?

The Flow is the top device with the greatest airflow, the learning control and the bong mode. The Four is simpler, has four fixed levels and the shake operation. The Mini 2 is the smallest, at 89 grams and 22 seconds heat-up time. Anyone wanting the best takes the Flow; anyone looking for a solid everyday device, the Four; anyone putting discretion above all, the Mini 2. All three share screens and part of the accessories, which simplifies stock keeping.

How to use it

1. Remove the oven door from the side and fill the chamber loosely.
2. Fit a mouthpiece, flat for the move, raised for the cooler draw.
3. Switch the device on and select one of the five modes.
4. Switch to bong mode when drawing through water.
5. Brush the chamber and screen out after the session while still warm.
