V2 black walnut

The TinyMight V2 in black walnut is the limited version of the Finnish convection device: solid walnut with a black finish, a polished 80 millimetre zirconia stem instead of the glass mouthpiece, the new stainless steel Cooling Unit V2 and a stronger Molicel P30B battery. Who is the black version for?

For customers who take the device out every day and therefore want no glass in their rucksack. The black walnut is not a pure colour variant: it brings the zirconia stem, the new cooling unit and the stronger battery. In the trade it is the article to show customers who already know a TinyMight and want to replace or add to one.

The zirconia stem

Instead of the glass mouthpiece there is a polished 80 millimetre stem of zirconium dioxide. Zirconia is considerably sturdier than glass, tolerates high temperatures and is easier to clean because the surface is polished. For a device that gets carried, that is the most important difference from the standard version — the most common damage to a TinyMight is a broken stem.

The Cooling Unit V2

The new cooling unit is stainless steel and improves vapour cooling and airflow. The chamber size stays variable, so small loads still run without loss. Anyone coming from the older TinyMight notices the difference in the draw resistance: the draw is easier without the vapour getting thinner.

Three seconds and boost

Heat-up is around three seconds. In on-demand mode the device heats only during the draw, and the boost function pushes in more heat when needed — useful at the end of a load, when the vapour would otherwise thin out. In session mode the device runs continuously, which is more practical in a group.

The barrel tube and the two screen layers

The reworked internal barrel tube holds the heater guard screen more firmly in place, and two screen layers keep herb particles out of the heating area. That sounds like a trifle but is the reason the heater stays clean — and with convection, a clean heater is the precondition for consistent flavour.

The Molicel P30B

The battery has a higher capacity than the standard model's and is replaceable in the same way. Charging is over a USB-C to USB-C cable, which is included. A second battery costs little and is swapped in seconds; for customers who are out a lot, that is the most obvious add-on sale for this device.

Solid walnut, black

The housing is solid walnut with a black outer finish. Wood insulates better than metal, which is why the device stays holdable on the outside. The black finish shows marks of use differently from the light wood — some customers like that, others do not, and that belongs honestly in the conversation.

Herbs and concentrates

The device is designed for dried herbs and for concentrates. The chamber should be cleaned between materials, or the aromas mix. Anyone using the device at home gets by with the standard model; anyone carrying it daily saves the first replacement stem with the black version.

How to use it

1. Open the chamber and fill it loosely with ground material.
2. Fit the Cooling Unit V2 and the zirconia stem.
3. Switch the device on and choose on-demand or session mode.
4. Let it heat for around three seconds and draw slowly.
5. After the session clean the chamber, screens and stem.
