The AirVape Legacy CORE is the slim variant of the Legacy PRO 2: the same hybrid heating, the same gold-plated chamber, but instead of the colour display, seven fixed temperature levels shown by LEDs. The air path is glass all the way through and can be pulled out completely for cleaning — the manufacturer's ONEPath system. The 18650 battery with 3,200 mAh is replaceable. For the trade it is the article that lets you justify the price gap to the PRO 2 honestly.

Who is the Legacy CORE for?
For customers who want the vapour of the Legacy PRO 2 but not its display. The CORE has the same heating and the same chamber and costs noticeably less because the readout is simpler. In the trade it is the most honest way to keep someone inside the Legacy system who hesitates at the price of the PRO 2. Anyone who wants to set by the degree is right with the PRO 2 — that belongs in the conversation before the decision is made.
Seven levels instead of a figure
The temperature is not set in degrees but in seven fixed levels shown by LEDs. In practice that is enough: most users find their level after two weeks and never touch it again. The difference from the colour display is not a matter of vapour quality but of operation. For customers who need no numbers, the simpler readout is even the more pleasant way.
The gold-plated chamber
The chamber is made of gold-plated stainless steel. Gold gives off no flavour of its own, conducts heat very well and can be wiped out without residue. That is the point where the CORE differs from devices in the same price bracket with a coated chamber — coated chambers lose their coating, a gold-plated one does not. In the third year the device still tastes as it did on the first day.
ONEPath — the glass air path
From the chamber outlet to the mouthpiece the air path is glass and pulls out in one piece. That is the real difference from devices in which condensate collects in channels you cannot reach. Anyone who puts the glass path in isopropyl alcohol every few weeks has a practically new device. For the trade that means fewer complaints about supposedly fading performance.
The replaceable battery
The 18650 battery with 3,200 milliampere hours can be taken out and replaced. In this price bracket that is by no means a matter of course, and it is the reason the CORE stays in service longer than devices with a built-in battery: when the battery fades after two years, it gets swapped instead of the device. A second battery in the case replaces any power bank and is changed in seconds.
Running time and charging
Depending on the level chosen, the CORE reaches 60 to 80 minutes. Low levels cost less power, high ones more — so the range is not vagueness but a description of reality. Charging is over USB-C. Daily users charge every second evening; anyone with a second battery does not charge on the road at all.
Cleaning and wear
The chamber is brushed out while still warm, the glass path soaked every few weeks. Wear occurs on screens, seals and the mouthpiece, all available individually. Because the parts are shared with the Legacy PRO 2, stocking pays off for both devices together. A cleaning set belongs in every order with a CORE and costs almost nothing to buy in.
The textile skins
The housing carries interchangeable textile covers. That sounds like an accessory but is real repeat business in the trade: anyone wanting a different look after a year buys a skin instead of a new device. At the same time the textile surface grips better than painted metal and is less sensitive to scratches. Replacements are available individually and the selection changes with the seasons.
Herbs and concentrates
A pad insert for concentrates is included, so the CORE can be used for both materials. Anyone running both in one device should clean the chamber between materials, or the aromas mix. For the trade the dual use is an argument against buying a second, concentrate-only device — with the note that a dab rig remains the better choice for concentrates.
What the CORE does not have
No colour display, no degree-accurate setting and no wireless charging — those are the three points where savings were made. Everything else it shares with the Legacy PRO 2. Anyone naming those three points unprompted in the sales conversation sells the device to the right customers and has no returns later. Anyone who keeps quiet about them sells it once and takes it back.
CORE or Legacy PRO 2?
The CORE has the same heating, the same chamber and the same glass air path. The PRO 2 additionally offers the colour display, the degree-accurate setting and the finer control. Anyone working by feel saves with the CORE; anyone who likes to adjust reaches for the PRO 2. Both share wear parts, which makes the decision cheap in hindsight.
How to use it
- Take off the mouthpiece and fill the chamber loosely.
- Switch the device on and choose one of the seven levels.
- Let it heat until the vibration signals the level.
- Draw slowly and evenly, not too hastily.
- After the session brush the chamber out while still warm.
