New Hot Knife Onyx
The New Hot Knife is the second generation of Puffco’s heated loading tool: the glazed ceramic tip heats at the press of a button, so the concentrate releases on its own and drops into the chamber. Puffco reworked the body, the cap connection and the button functions compared with the first version.

Clean loading instead of scraping
Concentrate sticks to cold tools – part of it never reaches the chamber but ends up on the dab tool, on your fingers or beside the bowl. The heated ceramic tip turns that around: you pick the extract up cold, hold the tip over the chamber and press the button. The concentrate softens and falls off without any help.
What changed compared with the first version
The body is sturdier, the cap sits more firmly and now carries a loop for carrying. The ceramic tip was reshaped and glazed so less material clings to it. The button gained extra functions – besides heating, it also reports the battery level.
Operation and battery
Everything runs through a single button: press and hold to heat the tip, triple-click to see the charge level. Charging is via USB-C and a full charge takes about 25 minutes.
What it works with
The Hot Knife is matched to the chambers of the Peak, Peak Pro, Proxy, Proxy Core and Pivot, but works just as well on other e-rigs and dab devices. It is an accessory and does not replace a device.
