The Yocan Vane 2 is a portable conduction vaporizer for dried herbs that combines a ceramic chamber, degree-precise temperature control and a colour display in an aluminium body – built for simple operation and low effort in daily use.

Ceramic chamber and conduction heating

The chamber is made entirely of ceramic: the material transfers heat directly to the plant material and holds it evenly throughout the session. Ceramic is neutral in taste, absorbs no aromas and cleans up with little residue. Because heating works through the chamber wall, it pays to fill the material evenly and not too tightly and to stir once between draws – that way the load extracts equally from all sides.

Setting the temperature to the degree

The Vane 2 works between 93 °C and 249 °C and adjusts in one-degree steps. As practical guidance: around 95–160 °C the aromas take centre stage and the vapour stays very light, between 160 and 200 °C is the balanced standard range, and from 200 °C the vapour becomes noticeably denser and the load is used up faster.

Colour display, timer and feedback

The 1.3-inch colour display shows target and actual temperature, battery level as a percentage and the running session timer. The timer runs for either three or five minutes and ends the session automatically. When the device reaches the set temperature it signals this with a short vibration – so there is no need to watch the display.

Magnetic mouthpiece and cleaning

The mouthpiece is held magnetically and pulls off without tools. That opens the chamber for filling and emptying and keeps cleaning simple: tap out the chamber, clean mouthpiece and screen with isopropyl alcohol and a brush, let dry. Cleaned regularly, draw resistance and flavour stay consistent.

Battery and everyday use

The built-in 1200 mAh battery lasts for roughly four to six full sessions depending on temperature and draw length and recharges via USB-C in around 90 minutes. The aluminium housing is compact enough for a jacket pocket; air intakes on both sides keep the draw light.

How to use it

1. Pull off the mouthpiece and loosely fill the ceramic chamber with finely ground material.
2. Put the mouthpiece back on and switch the device on.
3. Select your temperature on the colour display and set the timer to 3 or 5 minutes.
4. Wait for the vibration, then draw slowly and evenly; stir once in between.
5. After the session let it cool, empty the chamber and clean mouthpiece and screen.
