ECA: Easy Care Airpath

The airpath is fully insulated and routed separately from the components. Hot air flows through the load instead of heating it against a hot wall – the material does not combust and the flavour stays clean even in the upper temperature range. Because the path is insulated, less condensate settles and cleaning takes less time.

Titanium chamber instead of aluminium

The ÄRiS ULTRA uses a titanium chamber. Titanium is flavour-neutral, tolerates high temperatures and wipes out easily. The sensible fill is around 0.2 g of loosely packed material; with less than that, use a dosing capsule so the air does not bypass the herb.

Temperature and display

The range runs from 100 °C to 220 °C and is set by the degree. The OLED shows target and actual temperature at the same time along with the remaining session time. The timer can be set between three and seven minutes, after which the device switches off.

Battery, charging and runtime

The fixed 2600 mAh battery lasts around 60 minutes of operation, in practice eight to ten sessions. Over USB-C it is full again in about 85 minutes. Unlike many portables, the ÄRiS ULTRA can be used while it charges.

Concentrates via capsules

For resins and extracts there are capsules that drop into the chamber. That keeps the titanium chamber clean and saves converting the device. The capsules are included in the set, as is a container to store them.

How to use it

1. Remove the dust cap and fill the titanium chamber loosely.
2. Switch the device on and select the temperature on the OLED display.
3. Set the session timer between three and seven minutes.
4. Wait for it to heat up, then draw slowly and evenly.
5. After the session empty the chamber and clean it with the brush and stirrer.
