Description

The Gravity Infuser is the device that made Stündenglass known: a 360-degree rotating water pipe of borosilicate glass and anodised aluminium that keeps the smoke moving through a water cycle, a counter-flowing airstream and gravity. It ships as a complete hookah set, from the charcoal tray to the hose. For the trade it is the article with the most attention per square centimetre of shelf space.

Features

  • 360-degree rotation creates a constant stream of cooled smoke — the draw is generated inside the device, not in your mouth
  • Borosilicate glass and anodised aluminium, built for continuous use — no plastic in the smoke path
  • Complete hookah set included, nothing needs buying separately, from the charcoal tray to the stand
  • Aluminium bowl set and glass bowl for different materials — charcoal or direct operation
  • Charcoal tray, hookah hose with adapter and hookah wand included, everything in the box
  • 14 mm male bowl adapter for connecting vaporisers — any vaporiser with a matching joint
  • Silicone hose 90 centimetres long, long enough for the table
  • Mouthpiece adjustable by 45 degrees, contactless draws possible — nobody has to touch the device with their lips
  • Interchangeable mouthpieces, available individually, which matters on a device used by several people
  • Removable glass parts, dishwasher-safe and cleanable without special care
  • Stand included, the device stands firmly and does not tip even while turning
  • Suitable for dry herbs and concentrates — one device for both materials
  • Also available as an artist edition, including Grateful Dead and Khalifa, technically identical to the base version
  • No battery, no power supply — the motion does the work, so nothing can age or fail

Who is the Gravity Infuser for?

For customers looking for a hookah who want something other than the hundredth glass vase with a hose. The Infuser is a device people gather around, and it is accordingly rarely used alone. In the trade it is the article that stands in the cabinet and opens conversations. In our experience this device is bought less often for personal use than for the group it stands in. That also explains why it sells on looks rather than on the spec sheet.

Water cycle, airflow and gravity

Two glass globes one above the other on a rotating mount: water runs from the top to the bottom and displaces air, which pushes the smoke through the chamber. The draw is therefore not created in your mouth but in the device. That is the whole trick — and the reason the smoke arrives more evenly and more cooled than from a conventional water pipe. Because the smoke stands in the upper globe until it is taken, nothing is lost between two draws. In a group that means everyone gets the same draw, not the first person the best one.

The complete hookah set

Supplied with it are the aluminium bowl set, glass bowl, charcoal tray, hookah hose with adapter, hookah wand with hose connector, bowl adapter and stand. For the trade that means the customer does not have to buy anything extra to get started, which simplifies the sale and reduces follow-up questions. For selling it is a noticeable advantage over devices where half the accessories have to be bought first. The customer goes home with a complete set and comes back later for wear parts.

Contactless draws via the 45-degree mouthpiece

The mouthpiece adjusts by 45 degrees so that the vapour can be taken without touching the device. In a group that is the difference between passing something around and handing it on. Replacement mouthpieces are available individually. A second mouthpiece on the shelf costs little and saves the customer a week without their device. For use in company, several should be kept on hand anyway.

Connecting a vaporiser

The 14 mm bowl adapter takes any vaporiser with a matching joint. That turns the Infuser into a cooling stage — the vapour travels through two water globes and arrives noticeably cooler. For customers who already own a vaporiser, that is often the decisive argument. Anyone who already has a vaporiser gets a cooling stage here that no portable device can offer. It is the most effective way to sell the Infuser to customers who were not actually looking for a hookah.

Hot-air heating and materials

Dry herbs and concentrates can be used. The aluminium bowl set takes charcoal, the glass bowl suits direct operation. Because only glass and metal sit in the smoke path, the taste stays neutral — a point at which cheap copies give themselves away immediately. The glass bowl is the better choice for herbs, the aluminium set for classic charcoal use. Both are included, so the customer does not have to decide beforehand.

The artist editions

Alongside the standard version there are editions with Grateful Dead and Khalifa. They are technically identical but differ in glass and finish and are limited in quantity. For the trade these are articles that sell on looks and that appeal to different customers on the shelf than the plain black version. For wholesale the editions are also seasonal goods: they appear in limited numbers and cannot be reordered afterwards. Anyone who wants to carry them should buy early.

Cleaning

Glass parts come off and are rinsed out; stubborn residue dissolves in isopropyl alcohol. All removable glass parts are dishwasher-safe. Because this device works above all through its looks, regular cleaning pays off twice over — cloudy glass takes half its effect away. A cleaning kit therefore belongs in every order that includes an Infuser. It costs little and prevents the most common disappointment after the first few weeks.

Spare parts and repeat business

Glass globes, mouthpieces, hoses, seals and bowls are all available individually. The globes in particular break at some point, and then the customer needs a replacement rather than a new device. For the trade that is reliable repeat business that runs for years. In our experience the turnover in glass globes and mouthpieces over the device's life clearly exceeds the price of the device itself. That is exactly why it pays to stock the accessories in full and not just the device.

Classic, V3 or Kompact?

The classic comes with the complete hookah set and is the choice for anyone who genuinely wants to smoke shisha. The V3 is the newer, lighter generation with an NFC chip and without a charcoal tray. The Kompact is the small version for the table. All three use the same principle. The three are priced far apart, so the decision usually comes down to budget and floor space. Anyone who mainly wants to show the device off takes an edition; anyone who uses it daily takes the plain black version.

How to use it

  1. Fill the lower glass globe with water up to the mark.
  2. Fit the bowl set and load it, or connect a 14 mm vaporiser.
  3. Add charcoal or light the material.
  4. Slowly turn the device through 180 degrees until the upper globe is full.
  5. Align the mouthpiece and take the smoke without touching the device.
