Description

The Gravity Infuser V3 is the latest generation of the device that created an entire product category: a water pipe that rotates through 360 degrees and pushes the smoke through the chamber by gravity and displaced water rather than by suction. There is nothing to inhale — you turn the device and the vapour comes on its own. For the trade it is a product you do not have to explain, only demonstrate: once it has been turned, the sales conversation is usually over.

Features

  • 360-degree rotation, water displacement creates the draw without any suction — the pull is generated inside the device, not in your mouth
  • Two borosilicate glass globes, dishwasher-safe and available individually, replacements stocked separately
  • Aircraft-grade anodised aluminium frame — built for continuous use
  • Noticeably lighter and easier to handle than its predecessor, which you feel the moment you turn it
  • 14 mm bowl unit included in the box — nothing needs to be bought separately
  • Rotating mouthpiece for contactless draws, hygienic even when passed around
  • NFC chip for authenticity checks via the manufacturer's app — protection against grey imports and copies
  • Suitable for dry herbs, concentrates and 14 mm vaporisers — one device for all three materials
  • No battery, no power supply — the motion does the work, so nothing can age or fail
  • Four housing colours: black, green, purple and desert rose — technically identical in all four
  • Glass parts removable and fully cleanable, and the glass is dishwasher-safe
  • Stands firmly on the table and turns with one hand, even with both globes full
  • Wear parts available individually from the manufacturer — globes, mouthpieces and seals
  • Supplied as a complete set, ready to use, with nothing missing

Who is the Gravity Infuser V3 for?

For customers who want a display piece — at home as much as in the shop. The Infuser is not a device you use in passing; it draws attention and it is meant to be handed around. In the trade it is the article that carries the cabinet and around which the whole Stündenglass range sells. Anyone who has seen the vapour standing in the globe, waiting to be taken, understands the price. That is exactly why this device belongs at eye level and not on the shelf below.

How gravity creates the draw

Two glass globes sit one above the other on a rotating mount. Water runs from the upper globe into the lower one and displaces air, which is pushed up through the chamber. That pressure is what replaces the suction. Turn the globes and you watch the vapour form, then take it whenever you like — the smoke stays in the globe until it is needed. Because the vapour stands in the upper globe, nothing is lost between two draws, unlike any conventional water pipe in which the material keeps smouldering the whole time. That makes the device more economical than its size suggests.

What is new on the V3

Compared with its predecessor the V3 is lighter, more compact and considerably easier to handle. The rotating mechanism runs more smoothly, the bowl unit has been redesigned and the mouthpiece rotates with it. For the sales conversation that means: anyone who knows the first generation and found it unwieldy should pick up a V3. The weight has come down too, which is immediately noticeable on a device you have to turn in order to use it. We recommend placing both generations side by side in the shop, if a predecessor is still available.

Contactless draws

The rotating mouthpiece can be aligned so that nobody has to touch the device with their lips. In a group that is a hygienic advantage; in the shop it is a practical one, because a demonstration unit that does not need disinfecting after every customer can actually be demonstrated. For customers who use the device in company, this is the point they ask about most often. Replacement mouthpieces are available individually and therefore belong on the shelf.

Connecting a vaporiser

The 14 mm bowl unit is included, and the same joint takes any vaporiser with a 14 mm male fitting. That turns the Infuser into a cooling stage for a device the customer already owns — an argument that works particularly well with existing vaporiser customers. Anyone who owns both ends up using the Infuser almost exclusively with the vaporiser, because vapour arriving through two water globes is noticeably cooler. A 14 mm adapter for the vaporiser costs little and opens up this argument.

Borosilicate glass and aluminium

The globes are made of borosilicate glass, the frame of anodised aluminium. Both are built for continuous use and tolerate cleaning without any special care. The glass parts are removable and dishwasher-safe; they only need replacing if a globe breaks, and then individually. Replacement globes are part of the range and cover the most frequent repeat purchase. Stocking them means you do not lose the customer to mail order after the first breakage.

NFC chip and authenticity

The V3 contains an NFC chip through which the device identifies itself as genuine in the manufacturer's app. On a product copied as often as this one, that is a tangible advantage: the customer can check what they have bought, and the retailer can show that they carry original goods. For the wholesale trade it is also an argument against the grey imports that exist in abundance for this device. Anyone selling original goods can prove it on the device instead of merely claiming it.

Cleaning

Globes, downstems and bowl come off and are rinsed out; stubborn residue dissolves in isopropyl alcohol. Because there is no plastic in the smoke path, cleaning needs no special care. Rinse regularly and the glass stays clear — and with this device, clear glass is half the effect. We recommend selling a cleaning kit alongside it: it costs little and prevents the most common disappointment after the first few weeks. Cloudy glass is the only real weak point this device has.

Four colours and the question of stock

The V3 comes in black, green, purple and desert rose. Black sells best in our experience; the coloured versions sell wherever the device is also a piece of furniture. The technology is identical in all four, so it is purely a decision about looks. Four colours mean four items in stock, but they appeal to different groups of customers. In our experience the colourful version sells particularly well where the device is put on open display.

V3, classic or Kompact?

The V3 is the current generation: lighter, handier, with NFC. The classic Gravity Infuser is still stocked and comes with the complete hookah set including charcoal tray and hose. The Kompact is the small version, around a third smaller. All three work on the same principle. The three are priced well apart, so the decision usually comes down to budget and available space. Anyone who wants to smoke shisha needs the classic; anyone who wants to connect a vaporiser is better served by the V3.

How to use it

  1. Fill the lower glass globe with water up to the mark.
  2. Fit the bowl unit and load it, or connect a 14 mm vaporiser.
  3. Light the material or start the vaporiser.
  4. Slowly turn the device through 180 degrees — the water changes over and fills the upper globe with vapour.
  5. Align the mouthpiece, turn back and take the vapour.
