The WOLKENKRAFT ÄRiS is a pure convection vaporizer with an ECA airpath and a ceramic chamber. The vapour is produced by hot air alone and the airpath is insulated – that keeps the flavour clean and cleaning manageable.

Convection with an insulated airpath
In the ÄRiS hot air flows through the load instead of heating it against a hot wall. The airpath is routed separately from the electronics and insulated – the vapour therefore arrives cooler at the mouthpiece and less condensate settles. For cleaning, the brush and the stirrer are usually enough.
Ceramic chamber
The heating chamber is made of ceramic. It is flavour-neutral and releases heat evenly. Filling loosely matters: if the material is pressed down, the air cannot find a way through and extraction becomes uneven.
Temperature, timer and feedback
The range runs from 160 °C to 221 °C and is set in one-degree steps. The OLED shows temperature and battery level. As soon as the target temperature is reached the ÄRiS vibrates – no need to look at the display. The session timer runs for three to six minutes as you prefer.
Battery and runtime
The fixed 2600 mAh battery is good for seven to nine sessions. It charges over micro-USB, from a power bank as well. The three buttons are arranged so the device can be operated one-handed.
How to use it
- Remove the mouthpiece and fill the ceramic chamber loosely with ground herbs.
- Switch the device on and select the temperature with the two arrow buttons.
- Wait for the vibration – the target temperature has then been reached.
- Draw slowly and evenly rather than pulling hard.
- After the session empty the chamber and clean it with the brush.
