Description

The Ace is the only device in the range that empties itself. A slider on the front pushes the spent load out of the chamber — no knocking out, no scraping, no residue in the pocket. Add degree-precise control up to 240 degrees, a boost to 255 degrees and a replaceable battery with 2600 mAh. For customers vaporising several loads a day, the emptying is the actual reason to buy. In a sale it is enough to work the slider once — the argument explains itself.

Features

  • Patented self-emptying via a slider on the housing — no knocking out, no scraping
  • Conduction heating with a black ceramic chamber — holds the heat between draws
  • Insulated airpath for aromatic, cool vapour; the housing stays cool on the outside
  • Temperature from 100 °C to 240 °C, adjustable to the degree — finer than any preset device
  • Boost mode up to 255 °C for around a minute — gets the rest out of a spent load
  • Heat-up time of around 20 seconds, signalled by vibration
  • Replaceable 18650 battery with 2600 mAh — enough for around fifteen sessions
  • OLED display with temperature, battery level and session timer, legible in daylight
  • Vibration feedback on reaching the target temperature and at the end of the session
  • Zirconium mouthpiece, removable and flavour-neutral — stays cool because zirconium barely conducts heat
  • Chamber for around 0.2 to 0.3 g of ground material, finely ground and loosely packed
  • Concentrate cup included — nothing to buy for concentrates
  • Bevelled surface around the chamber makes filling easier — nothing goes astray
  • Compact housing built for daily use, two buttons, understood after one demonstration

Who is the Ace for?

For customers who use the vaporiser daily and repeatedly. Anyone taking one load in the evening will not miss the self-emptying; anyone refilling three or four times a day will want nothing else after the second week. In retail the Ace is therefore not an entry article but the device for the repeat buyer — and for everyone coming from a conduction device who has had enough of its cleaning effort. Counted over a year, daily users save hours otherwise spent knocking out and scraping.

The self-emptying

A slider on the front travels through the chamber and pushes the spent load up and out. It takes a second and still works when the material has cooled and gone slightly sticky. The practical benefit is not only the time saved: because the chamber is actually emptied after every session — and not only when it becomes unavoidable — it stays cleaner and the flavour stays more consistent over weeks. The slider is mechanical and needs no electronics; there is nothing here that could fail.

Black ceramic chamber and insulated airpath

The heating chamber is made of black ceramic and is insulated against the housing. The heat stays where it belongs instead of migrating into the body — the device does not get hot on the outside, and the chamber holds its temperature between draws. The surface around the chamber opening is bevelled so ground material can be broken up directly on it and pushed in without anything going astray. Because the chamber is black you also see at once whether material is still in it.

Boost mode up to 255 degrees

Pressing the power button twice raises the temperature to 255 degrees for around a minute. The boost is meant for the end of a session: when nothing more comes at normal temperature, it draws the remainder out of a load that is already largely spent. Afterwards the device drops back to the set temperature by itself. Customers who watch consumption use this function on every load. The boost is deliberately time-limited — running permanently at 255 degrees would be neither sensible nor gentle.

Zirconium mouthpiece

The mouthpiece is made of zirconium, a material that barely conducts heat and therefore stays cool while the vapour passes through. It takes on no flavour of its own and comes off for cleaning. Compared with the plastic mouthpieces usual in this price class that is a noticeable difference — not on the first day, but after four weeks when a plastic part has long been tasting along. Spare tips are available separately, which counts on a part removed daily.

Replaceable battery with 2600 mAh

The Ace runs on an 18650 cell with 2600 mAh that can be taken out and swapped. That is enough for around fifteen sessions of five minutes each. Anyone needing the device professionally or on the road carries a second cell and is independent of any socket. For retailers the swappable cell means a spare article and a device that after three years is repaired rather than replaced. Around fifteen sessions per charge means two to three days in practice before the cable is needed.

Display and vibration

The OLED display shows target temperature, actual temperature, battery level and session timer. When the Ace reaches the set temperature it reports it by vibrating; the same signal comes at the end of the session and when switching into boost. Operation runs over two buttons and is understood after one demonstration — a point that shows up as fewer queries and fewer returns. For advice it matters that the display stays legible in daylight.

Herbs and concentrates

The concentrate cup is included, so nothing needs buying to vaporise both. The cup goes into the same chamber, the concentrate goes into it, the temperature is set higher. For customers looking for one device for both materials without buying twice, that is the simplest solution in this price class — and an argument other makers charge extra for. After using concentrates the cup should be wiped out while still warm, otherwise it gets tedious.

Cleaning

The self-emptying removes the most tiresome part. What remains is the chamber, brushed out after a few loads, and the mouthpiece, which comes off and can be soaked in isopropyl alcohol. The mesh screen at the bottom of the chamber is replaced or cleaned after a few weeks. All wear parts — screen, mouthpiece unit, seals, battery — are available separately and carried in the range. Regular cleaning extends the life of the chamber considerably, as with any conduction device.

Ace or Starry 4?

The Starry 4 is cheaper, has the adjustable airflow and the rotating display. The Ace has the self-emptying, the boost to 255 degrees, the larger battery and the included concentrate cup. Both work by conduction with a replaceable 18650 cell. The decision almost always comes down to emptying: anyone refilling several times a day takes the Ace; anyone vaporising occasionally takes the Starry. The two do not share their accessories: screens and mouthpieces are model-specific and must be stocked separately.

How to use it

  1. Remove the mouthpiece and fill the ceramic chamber loosely over the bevelled surface.
  2. Switch the device on and select the temperature to the degree.
  3. Let it heat for around twenty seconds until the device vibrates.
  4. Draw slowly; towards the end of the session press twice for the boost.
  5. After the session operate the slider — the load is ejected.
