Suitable only for waxes and herbs

Description

The Lunari is the convection vaporiser in the range with the longest breath: a swappable 18650 battery with 3200 mAh, true convection, a magnetic ceramic mouthpiece that rotates through 360 degrees, and a fully insulated air path above a stainless steel oven. It is operated with three clicks. Suitable for herbs as much as for concentrates. For the trade it is the article you recommend to heavy users — and they buy a second cell along with it in our experience.

Features

  • True convection heating, the heating element does not touch the material — nothing scorches on the oven floor
  • Suitable for dry herbs and for concentrates, one device for both, which doubles the target group in selling
  • Magnetic ceramic mouthpiece of jewellery quality, rotates 360 degrees and comes off with one grip
  • Temperature range from 100 to 220 degrees, adjustable to the degree, from full aroma to vigorous extraction
  • Bright OLED display with Celsius and Fahrenheit readout plus a session timer, easy to read outdoors too
  • Haptic feedback signals readiness and the end of the session without your having to look
  • Simple three-click operation, without a menu tree and without an app — what you see on the device is all there is
  • Replaceable 18650 battery with 3200 mAh, unlimited running time with a second cell — after years you replace the cell, not the device
  • Fast USB-C charging, the device is comfortably full overnight
  • Fully insulated air path, the vapour touches no electronics and tastes accordingly neutral
  • Stainless steel oven, flavour-neutral, easy to clean and unbothered even by thorough treatment
  • Integrated scraping tool, always on the device and never mislaid — a tool you have to look for does not get used
  • Compact, discreet format for daily transport, despite the swappable battery and 3200 mAh
  • Durable construction with no compromise on control or vapour quality — a device that keeps going for years

Who is the Lunari for?

For customers who are out and about a lot and have no patience for running-time limits. The swappable 18650 battery makes the Lunari a device that with a second cell in the pocket is practically never empty. Added to that is the true convection, which keeps the flavour clean. In the trade it is the article for customers who already know what they want and ask for a device with no compromise on running time. In our experience this particular group never goes back to a device with a built-in battery.

True convection

The material is heated exclusively with hot air, the heating element does not touch it. As a result nothing scorches on the oven floor, the extraction runs evenly and the flavour stays differentiated. The price for that is a deliberate, slow draw — draw too hastily and you get little. That note belongs in the sales conversation, otherwise the device comes back as supposedly weak. In the shop it pays to demonstrate the first draw deliberately slowly so the customer hears and tastes the difference.

The swappable battery

Fitted is an 18650 cell with 3200 mAh that can be taken out and exchanged. For customers that means a second cell costs little and extends the running time indefinitely. And when the battery fades after years, it is replaced instead of the device. For the trade the spare cell is the obvious add-on sale and at the same time an argument for the device's longevity. Cells are an item with a high repeat rate, because batteries age and heavy users keep a supply.

The rotating ceramic mouthpiece

Ceramic conducts heat poorly, which is intended here: the vapour cools on the way. The mouthpiece is held magnetically and rotates through 360 degrees, so the draw angle can be chosen freely. It comes off in a second and is easy to clean. Replacements are available individually and belong on the shelf. Two silicone caps keep the mouthpiece clean on the move without it getting scratched in a pocket.

Herbs and concentrates

The Lunari handles both, which places it more broadly in the range than the pure herb vaporisers. The only thing to note is that concentrates clog the oven faster and demand more frequent cleaning. Anyone using both should keep two sets of screens on hand and make cleaning a habit, otherwise the flavour suffers after just a few weeks. For the trade the dual use is an advisory argument that widens the target group.

Display and operation

The bright OLED display shows the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit as well as the session timer. Operation runs on three clicks — there is no menu tree and no app; what you see on the device is all there is. Added to that is the haptic feedback that signals readiness and the end of the session without your having to look. Understand the operation once and you never need the manual again — with this device that is deliberate.

The insulated air path

The air path is routed entirely separately from the electronics. That is the point at which clean construction differs from sloppy: where vapour passes circuit boards or plastic, you taste it. On the Lunari the path leads from the stainless steel oven straight into the ceramic mouthpiece, with no detour. The flavour stays accordingly neutral. In the sales conversation you can show this by opening the device up and tracing the path of the air.

The integrated scraping tool

On the device sits a small tool for scraping out the chamber which cannot be mislaid. What sounds like a detail is in daily use the reason the oven actually stays clean: a tool you have to look for does not get used. Together with isopropyl alcohol it is entirely sufficient for cleaning. Scrape the oven out while still warm and it takes under thirty seconds, with the work for the next session already done.

Cleaning and wear

Oven and mouthpiece are cleaned regularly; residue dissolves in isopropyl alcohol. Wear occurs on screens and seals, both available individually. Clean every few weeks and draw resistance and flavour stay constant. Because the oven is made of stainless steel, it tolerates thorough treatment without damage. A cleaning kit therefore belongs in every order with a Lunari and costs almost nothing at wholesale.

Lunari or 4 Pro?

Both work by convection. The 4 Pro has the larger display, goes up to 221 degrees and delivers up to ten sessions from its built-in battery. The Lunari has the swappable battery, the rotating ceramic mouthpiece and additionally handles concentrates. Anyone out and about a lot takes the Lunari; anyone working with it at home, the 4 Pro. The two are priced close together, so the decision comes down to the intended use and not to the budget.

How to use it

  1. Fill the stainless steel oven loosely with finely ground material.
  2. Attach the ceramic mouthpiece magnetically and align it.
  3. Switch on with three clicks and select the temperature.
  4. Let it heat until the vibration signals, then draw slowly.
  5. After the session scrape the oven out with the integrated tool.
