The Sunshine Pen V2 is the fastest vaporiser in the range: just under eleven seconds to operating temperature, pure convection, session and on-demand modes and a glass mouthpiece that doubles as a 14 mm water-pipe adapter. The 18650 battery is swappable, the airflow adjustable, and the colour display shows everything at a glance. It is supplied as a bundle with a glass bubbler, a wax capsule and five dosing capsules. For the trade the bundle is at the same time the article with the highest receipt in the whole range, at the same advisory time.

Who is the Sunshine Pen V2 for?
For customers who do not want to wait. Eleven seconds is faster than most conduction devices need, and that with pure convection — a combination hardly available elsewhere in this price class. Added to that is the bundle with bubbler and capsules that justifies the purchase price. In the trade it is the article for customers who already have a device and want to know the difference. In our experience the Sunshine sells through the demonstration and hardly at all through the spec sheet — which is why it belongs on the counter and not on the back shelf.
Session and on-demand
In session mode the device heats for a fixed time and delivers a whole session; in on-demand mode it heats only while you are drawing. The second mode saves material and suits single draws in between, the first suits the round at the table. That both are in one device is the real reason to recommend the Sunshine over simpler vaporisers. For the trade the dual operating mode is the argument that justifies the price difference from simple convection devices.
Eleven seconds
Just under eleven seconds to operating temperature is a figure otherwise reached only by considerably more expensive devices. What makes it possible is the small, directly heated air path. For the customer that means the device actually gets used instead of lying in a drawer, because the waiting is gone. In the shop it can be demonstrated by counting along. Anyone wanting just one draw switches to on-demand mode and is finished in the time another device is still heating up.
The 14 mm adapter
The glass mouthpiece is ground so that it fits directly into a 14 mm water-pipe joint. The Sunshine can therefore be connected to any bong and any matching bubbler without buying an adapter. A glass bubbler is included in the bundle anyway. For customers who smoke through water at home in any case, that is the decisive point. A matching 14 mm adapter therefore does not have to be sold alongside, which shortens the consultation.
The swappable 18650 battery
The cell can be taken out and exchanged. Carry a second one and you have no running-time limit on the move; and when the battery fades after years, it is replaced instead of the device. For the trade the spare cell is the obvious add-on sale. Charging alternatively happens in the device over USB-C. For the trade it is an item with a high repeat rate, because batteries age and heavy users keep a supply.
Temperature in one-degree steps
From 100 to 220 degrees every value can be selected individually. That sounds like a gimmick but makes sense with pure convection, because the character of the vapour changes noticeably over just a few degrees. The colour OLED shows the current value, mode and battery level at the same time. Most customers work between 185 and 205 degrees. Anyone unsure starts at 195 degrees and works up in five-degree steps.
The airflow adjuster
The draw resistance can be set on the device. Wide open the Sunshine draws easily and delivers airy vapour; further closed the draw becomes denser. On a convection device this setting has a particularly strong effect, because it also changes how long the air dwells in the material. In the sales conversation it pays to demonstrate it. Anyone smoking through the bubbler opens the adjuster further, because the water already creates resistance.
The bundle
The Sunshine is supplied as a package with a glass mouthpiece, a glass bubbler, a wax capsule, five dosing capsules with caddy, three cotton buds, a cleaning brush, four replacement screens, a cleaning tool, a USB-C cable and the manual. For the trade that means a higher receipt at the same advisory time and a customer who has nothing to order afterwards. For the customer it means they need nothing more after the purchase — not even a water-pipe piece.
Dosing capsules
Five capsules with a caddy are included, so several loads can be prepared. That keeps the chamber clean, turns a change on the move into a matter of seconds and makes dosing easier. Customers who have worked with them once buy more in our experience — capsules are available individually and belong on the shelf. A caddy with five capsules costs little at wholesale and is the most obvious add-on sale for this device.
Sunshine or Lunari?
Both work by convection and with a swappable 18650 battery. The Sunshine is considerably faster, has the on-demand mode and the 14 mm adapter on the mouthpiece; the Lunari has the rotating ceramic mouthpiece and the integrated tool. Anyone smoking through water or preferring single draws takes the Sunshine; anyone running long sessions, the Lunari. The two are priced close together, so the decision comes down to the manner of use and not to the budget.
