Description

The HyperDyn is the DynaVap for longer sessions: its chamber holds around 0.25 g, roughly two and a half times that of the other models, and the thicker Hyper Cap brings considerably more thermal mass. That shifts the whole device from microdosing to sustained vaporising. It is made of medical-grade titanium with a DuraDyn coating, with connections for 10 and 14 millimetres, and like every VapCap without a battery. For retailers it is therefore the answer to the most common objection to the entire brand.

Features

  • Chamber volume averaging 0.25 g for extended sessions — two and a half times the other models
  • Considerably thicker Hyper Cap with noticeably higher thermal mass than the standard cap, and thus more even heating through
  • Precision-machined from medical-grade titanium, protected by the DuraDyn coating — scratch-resistant, light and flavour-neutral
  • Integrated 10 mm and 14 mm taper for use with water pipes without an adapter — the most effective lever for cooler vapour
  • Modularly compatible with earlier DynaVap midsections, tips and mouthpieces — stashes and induction heater included
  • The Hyper Cap fits only the Hyper Tip, not the smaller models, so it is a model-bound spare part
  • Battery-free, run with a jet-flame lighter or an induction heater — five to eight seconds in the heater, with a little extra for the mass
  • Bi-metal cap with audible click as the temperature indicator, entirely without electronics; a second click signals reheating
  • Suitable for dry herb and for concentrates, without accessories having to be bought
  • Machine-made in Wisconsin, designed for long service life — there is nothing that could age
  • Fully dismantlable, all metal parts cleanable in isopropyl alcohol — titanium and DuraDyn take it without care
  • No plastic in the vapour path that could taste along — the flavour stays neutral even after months
  • Supplied in a sturdy tin case protecting device and accessories, holding brush and cotton swabs too
  • The O-rings are the only real wear part, cost a few cents and should be kept as a set

Who is the HyperDyn for?

For customers who find the tiny chambers of the classic VapCaps too small. That is the most common objection to the brand at all: you have a device without a battery that lasts forever but has to be refilled after three draws. The HyperDyn answers exactly that point with a chamber holding two and a half times as much. In retail it is the device for the customer who already owns an M7 and wants more — and for everyone who wants to pass a VapCap around a group. Anyone wanting to do that cannot get past this model.

The large chamber and what it changes

A quarter of a gram is a lot by DynaVap standards and normal for an electric device. That shifts the character: instead of two or three deliberate draws there is a session running over several heat cycles. Anyone wanting less simply fills less — downwards the scope is wide, upwards on the small models it is not. That is the actual reason this device exists, and the reason the objection about chamber size disappears with it.

The Hyper Cap

The cap is made considerably thicker than the standard cap and brings correspondingly more thermal mass. That is necessary because a larger load needs more energy to heat through evenly. Important for advice: the Hyper Cap fits only the Hyper Tip. Caps can be swapped between devices on all other models, but not here. Spare caps therefore have to be ordered model-specifically, or they simply will not fit.

Titanium with DuraDyn coating

The body is made of medical-grade titanium coated with DuraDyn. Titanium conducts heat quickly, is light and flavour-neutral; the coating makes the surface scratch-resistant and keeps the device presentable even after months in a pocket. Together that gives a vaporiser that does not age on the outside and has nothing that could age on the inside — apart from the O-rings, which remain the only part you ever have to buy again.

Both connection sizes as standard

The taper is machined so that it fits both 10 mm and 14 mm joints without an adapter being needed. On the HyperDyn in particular the water filter is more than a convenience: a larger load produces more vapour, and that gets noticeably warm over the device's short airpath. Anyone running the HyperDyn on a bong at home gets out of it what it was built for.

Herb and concentrates

The HyperDyn handles dry material as well as concentrates. For concentrates you heat higher and fill less; the large chamber is no drawback there, because it can be underfilled at will. For retailers that means a device serving two groups of customers without accessories having to be bought. The only thing to note is that concentrates clog the chamber faster and it has to be cleaned more often.

Modularity with one exception

Midsections, mouthpieces and condensers from earlier DynaVap devices still fit, as do the stashes and the induction heater The Wand. The only exception is the cap: Hyper Cap and Hyper Tip form a pair. For stockholding that means this one spare part has to be carried separately, while the rest of the accessories work across all models.

Heating with flame or induction

Because of its greater mass the HyperDyn takes a little longer than the small models until the cap clicks — but it then holds the temperature longer. With a jet-flame lighter you heat evenly over the whole cap while rotating the device. In the induction heater it takes a few seconds more than on the M7. Anyone vaporising daily should take the heater along at the same time.

Cleaning

All metal parts go into isopropyl alcohol; titanium and DuraDyn take that without restriction. Because the chamber is large and heated directly, noticeably more residue collects there over a session than on the small models — wiping it out after every second load keeps the draw easy. The tin case in the box takes device, brush and cotton swabs together.

HyperDyn, VonG X or UniDyn?

The VonG X is the balanced flagship with a 0.1 g tip and rotating mouthpiece. The HyperDyn is the session vaporiser with 0.25 g and the thick Hyper Cap — the device for everyone who finds the others too small. The UniDyn goes another way: BallR Cap with convection, seamless UniBody and seven airflow settings, but a small chamber again. Anyone wanting volume takes the HyperDyn; all three use the same click technology.

How to use it

  1. Remove the Hyper Cap and pack the chamber loosely with finely ground material.
  2. Put the cap on and hold the device so it can be rotated between the fingers.
  3. Heat the cap evenly — a little longer than on the M7 because of the greater mass.
  4. At the click take the heat source away, wait briefly and draw slowly.
  5. After the second click reheat; one load carries over several cycles.
