Description

The CHill Steel Pipe is a water pipe made of double-walled, vacuum-insulated stainless steel with a thermal chamber that takes ice — the cooling holds for up to twelve hours. A neck piece, an aluminium stem and a borosilicate glass bowl make a device that does not break when it falls over. It fits most DynaVap models and electric vaporisers with a 14 mm joint. For the trade it is the answer to every customer who has already broken two glass bubblers.

Features

  • Base of double-walled, vacuum-insulated stainless steel — the same construction as a good thermos flask
  • Thermal chamber for ice, the cooling holds for up to twelve hours
  • Ceramic-lined inside, flavour-neutral and easy to clean
  • Borosilicate glass bowl with a 14 mm joint, available individually
  • Unbreakable aluminium stem instead of a glass tube — the most common breaking point is gone
  • Screw-off neck piece, the device comes apart into its pieces for cleaning
  • Cleaning with isopropyl alcohol, aggressive cleaners are unnecessary
  • Compatible with most DynaVap models without an adapter
  • Fits electric vaporisers with a 14 mm joint or a matching adapter
  • Overall height 33 centimetres, of which 25.5 centimetres is the neck piece

  • Replaces fragile glass water filters day to day and on the road

Who is the CHill Steel Pipe for?

For customers who want water filtration and have broken glass before. The CHill is not a vaporiser but the water piece underneath — and one that survives a fall. In the trade it is the obvious add-on sale to every DynaVap and to every electric device with a 14 mm connection. Anyone who has used one once buys no more glass, because the difference shows immediately in daily use.

The vacuum insulation

The base is double-walled and vacuum-insulated, built on the same principle as a good thermos flask. That has two consequences: the water stays cold, and the housing stays dry on the outside because it does not fog up. For customers who put the pipe on the table, the second point is the practically more important one — there are no rings on the tabletop.

The ice chamber

Ice goes into the thermal chamber, and by the manufacturer's account the cooling holds for up to twelve hours. That is no toy: cold smoke is milder, and with convection vaporisers at high temperature it makes the difference between pleasant and scratchy. Anyone who fills the pipe in the morning still has cooling in the evening — that sentence sells the device more reliably than any technical description.

Why no glass

The stem is aluminium and therefore unbreakable; only the bowl is borosilicate glass and available individually. That removes the most common breaking point: the tube that goes first when the thing tips over. For the trade it means fewer complaints and still repeat business, because the bowl remains a wear part.

The ceramic lining

Inside, the pipe is lined with ceramic. Ceramic is flavour-neutral and takes on no aromas, which would otherwise quickly become a problem in a stainless steel housing. Cleaning is done with isopropyl alcohol; aggressive cleaners are neither necessary nor advisable. Anyone cleaning regularly has the same clear flavour after months.

What does it fit?

The bowl has a 14 mm joint. Most DynaVap models therefore fit directly, as do all electric vaporisers with a 14 mm connection or a suitable adapter. In the sales conversation it pays to ask briefly which device the customer owns — the few 18 mm devices need an adapter, which should be sold alongside.

Size and weight

33 centimetres overall height, of which 25.5 centimetres is the neck piece, and around 1.27 kilograms in weight. That is not a travel device in the jacket-pocket sense, but it stands securely and does not tip at a careless movement. Anyone taking the pipe along packs it in a rucksack and does not have to wrap it in towels.

Cleaning

For cleaning, the neck piece screws off and the device comes apart into its pieces. Isopropyl alcohol dissolves the residue, warm water rinses after. Because nothing is glued and there is no narrow glass channel, cleaning takes a few minutes instead of half an hour. That is the point where the price difference to a glass bubbler pays for itself in daily use.

Colours

We stock the CHill Steel Pipe in blue and in green. Technically both are identical; only the colour of the housing separates them. For the trade it pays to carry both — with a device that stands on the table, looks decide more often than technology does.

Repeat business

The glass bowl is the only breakable part and thus the obvious repeat purchase; seals follow later. For the trade that means an article that is rarely complained about and still generates small reorders over years. Whoever has the bowl on the shelf when it is needed sells it on the spot.

What it is not

The CHill Steel Pipe is not a vaporiser and heats nothing. It is the water piece into which a vaporiser or a DynaVap is placed. That note belongs in the sales conversation, because the article is listed under vaporisers in the shop and the confusion otherwise leads to a return.

How to use it

  1. Unscrew the neck piece and put ice into the thermal chamber.
  2. Fill the base with water until the bowl opening just dips in.
  3. Screw the neck piece back on and fit the glass bowl.
  4. Put the DynaVap or vaporiser into the 14 mm joint.
  5. After use take it apart and clean it with isopropyl alcohol.
