Cap Armor Titanium Aurum
The DynaVap Cap Armor Titanium is a precision-machined titanium sleeve for compatible DynaVap Captive Caps, conceived as a lightweight, modular alternative to the stainless steel Cap Armor. It comes in the Aurum colourway, a rich gold tone created with DynaVap's DuraDyn technology. The sleeve is clicked onto the existing Captive Cap rather than replacing it. According to the manufacturer, titanium heats up and cools down faster than stainless steel; better heat retention and distribution support more even extractions and can reduce the need to rotate the device during torch heating. Complete extractions are possible in as little as one to two heat cycles, depending on use.

Fitting and notes
To fit, gently press the Captive Cap into the Cap Armor until it clicks audibly; this is easiest on an assembled device. To remove, with the tip attached, hold the digger-outer with your thumb against the tip and gently wiggle the Cap Armor off. Do not push the cap out from the top, as it may dent. Because of the press fit, small impressions can appear on the upper rim of the Captive Cap; this is normal and does not affect function.
